If you require golf lessons there are a range of options available and our practice range offers the ideal opportunity to improve your game. As a registered custom fit specialist, Jonathan can provide professional advice and guidance to enable you to make the perfect selection for your new clubs.

Jonathan Dunn, Head Professional

Jonathan Dunn has been Head Professional at Sonning since April 2011 joining us from Badgemore Park Golf Club where he was the Director of Golf. He is a fully qualified AAT PGA Professional and brings a wealth of experience and good humour to his role. His golfing life began at 8 years old and by the time he was 12 he played off single figures. He turned professional at age 17 and fully qualified from the PGA at the age of 21.

After competing on the Challenge Tour for two seasons he went to the European Tour School twice, narrowly missing his card on both occasions. Here at Sonning he operates a specialist and independent golf shop and he and his staff are able to provide advice and information about your golf equipment requirements.

During his 25+ years teaching locally in the BB&O area he has gained a reputation as an excellent teacher and a large client base from across the region can attest to that. Jonathan and his team pride themselves in offering friendly and professional tuition to ensure that improving your golf skills is an enjoyable and fun experience.
